Your
New Car Warranty and Brahler Service
 “If
you use a non-original equipment filter, will it void my new car warranty?” We
often hear that. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and general principles
of the Federal Trade Commission Act, a manufacturer may not require the
use of any brand of filter, or any other part, unless the manufacturer
provides the item free of charge under the terms of the warranty. If
any part or service is covered under your new car warranty, we will relay
that information to you before any work begins. Brahler Lube Center
meets or exceed your vehicles warranty.

Brahler Recommended
Oil & Fluids
 We
recommend a filter and change every 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever
comes first. Keep in mind that severe driving conditions will require
oil and filter changes sooner than normal driving conditions. Some severe
driving conditions include city driving, towing a trailer, or frequent
start and stop trips. Also, if Brahler Lube Center services your
vehicle, we will top off any fluids, excluding antifreeze, free of charge.

Brahler Winter
Weather Tips
 Day
to day driving is sometimes tough enough; winter weather makes it
tougher. Keeping a few items in your car during your winter driving
may make the difference in getting to your destination. Store a bag
of kitty litter in your trunk for added traction in slick road conditions.
Have your engine coolant checked. Also, while we don’t recommend
driving and talking on the phone, make sure you take a cell phone
in case of emergencies. Make sure your wiper fluid is topped off,
since windshields tend to get dirtier in slushy driving conditions.
If Brahler’s services your vehicle, we will top off any fluids
(except antifreeze) free of charge between our recomended 3 month
/ 3,000 mile service changes, even wiper fluid. We also recommend
rotating tires before
the snow
flies.
This
will
ensure
the maximum traction you need to get where you’re going this
winter. Another winter tip: keep your ice scraper in the house if
snow is predicted. This will save you from having to dig your car
out by hand to get to the scraper!

system at any Brahler Lube Center .

 Often
overlooked, your vehicle’s air filter can easily become clogged
with dirt and grime, which can rob your car of power. Any Brahler Lube
Center can check and replace your vehicle's air filter while you wait.
You’ll
breathe easier knowing your car can breathe easier too!
Also, some vehicles now come with cabin air filters, which
help keep your interior environment a welcome place to drive. Over time,
these filters also need replaced. Do you know where your filters are
located? We do, and we can help!

Brahler Service
and Your Vehicle's Cooling System
 Brahler’s
can flush and fill your vehicle’s radiator at any of Brahler
Lube Center. We recommend
this service every 2 years, or 30,000 miles. You can help your vehicle
stay cool by simply keeping your radiator free of bugs and road
grime which will allow for efficient cooling of your vehicle.

 Brahler
Service and Your Vehicle's Fuel System
Brahler Lube Centers can inspect and clean dirty injectors to help
curb fuel starvation to your vehicle and restore power when you put the pedal
down. Over time, stop and go driving may begin to take its toll on your vehicle's
fuel injection system. Let Brahler Lube Center take
care of the problems that a sluggish vehicle can bring.

Expensive Transmission
Problems
 Transmission
problems account for the second most expensive repair on average due
to the fact that transmissions are often overlooked until a problem
occurs. Brahler Lube Center can perform the necessary preventative
maintenance to ensure smooth shifting for your vehicle. Brahler Lube
Center can perform a transmission pan drop and filter change while
you wait. If you have Brahler’s change your
oil, we’ll check and top off your transmission and differential
fluid levels as part of our service. A little prevention can save the
aggravation and cost of a major transmission repair. Please check your
owner’s manual for recommended transmission service, or ask one
of our friendly store mangers.

 Seeing
the Light - Headlights and Bulbs
Brahler Lube Center can help your night vision impaired by a burnt out
or broken headlight. Vehicles are expensive; why risk your entire investment
to poor visibility? We can help you see the light again. (Headlight and bulb

Brahler Service
and Your Vehicle's Belts
 We
recommend belt replacement every 4 years or 60,000 miles. Brahler’s
can check and replace most, belts, including serpentine
belts at any Brahler Lube Center while you wait. Serpentine belts
often show little visual problems before breakage, and since
many of us are keeping vehicles longer than ever, belt and hose replacement
is a good idea. (See store manager for details.
